Gaylord vs Grayling girls softball

April 24th, I was finally able to make it to a softball game.....as winter just hung around a bit to long. After work, I was able to make the game, and found that it was in the 3rd or 4th inning OF THE SECOND GAME!! The Gaylord pitcher below, Liz Bauman (hope I spelled that correct) is just amazing. The games move along quick because of her pitching. I caught her pitching only one inning, as she gave way fo the final 2. This photo is of her in the wind-up, with that ball just ready for the wheel house, and on the way to the plate with speed. She is worth it to stop by and watch pitch.

This was a nice catch by the Grayling outfielder. This was the day of the big Grayling fire, which was going on the same time this game was being played in Gaylord, so there was tons of talking about the fire during the game between parents and the players. Cell phones were in use big-time :) Just google the Grayling fire, April 2008, and you should find information if so interested.
